Social Energy Procurement

Picture
The CVGA received funding under the Collaborative Councils Sustainability Fund to assist councils to understand the risks and opportunities associated with undertaking alternative energy procurement options, with a focus on Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and potential to support local energy projects.

This project provides councils with a decision making framework to determine which investment and procurement models best align with their strategic objectives. It also maps out the risks and opportunities associated with different energy models and ways to support local community energy groups.

This project was completed in October 2018.

The final guide for the project is available by clicking on the image to the left.
