Clean Energy for Resilience

CVGA received funding from Bank Australia's Community Customer Grant 2019 to install a solar and battery system on the Hepburn Recreation reserve, which is the emergency evacuation point for the area, and the Malmsbury CFA.

The project aimed to help the Hepburn Recreation Reserve and the Malmsbury CFA to be more resilient in the event of the grid going down during an emergency, while also helping to cut their energy bill and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The Solar and Battery system was installed through our MASH Program.
