The Roadmap has been developed through a collaboration and focusses on investing in and strengthening human capacity to unlock significant emissions reductions across five key actions areas.

Cool-it Tree Selection Guide

The Victorian Renewable Energy Roadmaps were released by the State Government on 21 May 2020, including the Loddon Mallee Roadmap prepared by CVGA.

All local government councils in Victoria are required to develop a Council Plan after a general election, to be valid for four years. The Council Plan must include the strategic direction of Council, strategic objectives, strategic actions, and strategic indicators, to guide the work of council and ensure it is undertaken in a cohesive manner. This report explores how councils in the CVGA region addressed climate change in development of their new Council Plans.

The Central Victorian Greenhouse Alliance (CVGA), on behalf of 8 project partners, received funding under the DELWP 3CA grant funding to address heat vulnerability through accelerating investment in new climate resilient tree assets that provide maximum health and wellbeing outcomes in central Victorian towns.
